About the Rules Geeks
RulesGeeks.com was founded by Erik, Doug, Charlie, and Martyn as a means of sharing, educating, and discussing the Rules of Golf. With the 2019 major rules revisions on the horizon, and with the passing of noted Rules expert Barry Rhodes, the four of them sought to take up the torch Barry carried and add to the discussion of the Rules of Golf.
It is our sincere hope that by talking about the Rules, by sharing our thoughts and opinions, and by educating golfers about the Rules, that they can be seen as the brilliantly crafted manner in which we play the greatest game of all. Though the Rules are often seen as overly complex and penal, we see them as just and based in principles espoused decades ago, and tracing back to the game’s beginning centuries ago.
Please join us in discussing the Rules of Golf. We welcome all golfers, whether “geek” or not.
